Message from Executive Director
It is with great pride that I present Mohila O Shishu Songathan (MSS) — a women-led organization dedicated to empowering women and children in the climate-vulnerable coastal region of Koyra, Bangladesh. Since its establishment in 2005, MSS has been working relentlessly to promote gender equality, social justice, and community resilience through inclusive and sustainable development initiatives.
In partnership with government institutions, development organizations, and community groups, we have strengthened local capacity to adapt to climate change, improved livelihoods, ensured access to safe water and sanitation, and advanced women’s leadership in disaster management.
Our journey reflects the collective strength, courage, and resilience of coastal women who continue to transform their communities despite adversity. As we move forward, we welcome collaboration with donors, partners, and well-wishers who share our vision of a just, inclusive, and climate-resilient future for all.
